This is a fantastic opportunity for a Product Owner to join a growing fintech business. This role will see you working very closely with our Engineering team to define and manage our product backlog, ensuring we deliver a best-in-class product. Working collaboratively with our Head of Product and Engineering Team Leads, you will be responsible for our product and its end-to-end features.

Our current Tech team is lean, and we’re looking for someone who can work alongside our Developers to remove blockers, work effectively and continuously adapt to ensure we deliver the best product to our customers. You’ll be successful in the role, if you can inspire and motivate our Engineering team to deliver top-class solutions with a healthy sense of urgency.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Product Owner

We are looking for a confident and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. You will be tasked with implementing and maintaining data models with the goal of improving data reliability and quality, ensuring scalable data pipelines are working smoothly, and bugs and performance issues are quickly identified.

As a member of the Data Science team, your primary focus will be to combine raw information from different sources to create consistent and consumption-ready formats. More specifically, you will need to construct and test architectures that enable data extraction and transformation for predictive or prescriptive modeling.

Data Engineer

This is a newly created role for an individual who has a keen eye for detail to ensure that our technical environment is safe and secure for our employees and customers to transact within. In this exciting hands-on role you will work with various teams at Lulalend to collaborate, problem solve and come up with innovative solutions to problems faced.

You will be responsible for our hardware procurement and asset management, production monitoring and security control capability as well as motivate for and implement monitoring tools and services. You will work in areas such as integration and security across platforms (infrastructure and software), monitoring technologies, and OS patching.

Site Reliability Engineer

Lulalend is a start-up company focused on changing SME lending through technology, data and design. Small business owners are the foundation for growth in our economy, and they deserve an easy and inspiring lending process.

This is a newly created role for an individual who has a keen eye for detail and who is passionate about continuously improving the quality of platform and services. The position will be responsible for developing test cases and implementing testing methods and tools to achieve this purpose. You will need to work closely with our Data, Engineering and Product teams to make sure that developed functionality is fit for purpose.

QA Tester

Lulalend is South Africa’s first and only online and automated business-lending platform aimed at providing small and medium businesses with quick access to funding to help them grow! We use data, technology and design to efficiently deliver capital to a market underserved by banks.

With an established, but growing Marketing team in place, we’re looking for a dynamic Marketer who loves all things brand. You’re the type of person who lives and breathes campaigns, storytelling and customers. You understand the importance of having a brand voice and you know all about the value of campaign marketing.

Reporting into our Chief Marketing Officer, this is a newly created role focused on the end-to-end management of our campaigns and driving our brand awareness.
