The Country Manager, South Africa, will serve as the primary lead role for Chipper Cash in South Africa. He/she will drive the country strategy working alongside global cross functional teams including Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Marketing. He/she will be a critical team leader to support sustainable and profitable growth for the Chipper Cash application.
Responsibility includes but is not limited to
- Strategy and planning for business continuity and growth.
- Identifying, developing and maintaining strategic relationships with business and operational partners and governmental organizations in South Africa to ensure and improve business operations and continuity.
- Providing local market intelligence to help inform global functions on areas such as user-behavior, target segments and competitive intelligence. Deliver on country-based marketing campaigns.
- Administrative support related to country operations.
- Ensure the Chipper Cash is in compliance with local laws, legislation, and regulations relating to Chipper’s operations in South Africa.

Requirements
- Strong experience in driving the strategy and execution of an organization, preferably through a period of growth.
- Experience in partnership development and management.
- Experience in team leadership and organizational management.
- Preferred experience in financial services or related industry.

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree/certifications preferred.
