Invoicing (Billing) Manager, Egypt

You get to work at the intersection of moving economies through inland and port freight and manage key marketplace stakeholders in a fast-paced environment in an effort to drive a step-change in the industry. 

Key Responsibilities Areas:

  • Create, review, and submit weekly, bi weekly and monthly invoices.
  • Oversee monthly invoicing process, including providing quality assurance, quality control, and customer service; ensure that deadlines are met and tasks are completed.
  • Train and assist project management unit (PMU) with monthly invoice review.
  • Review, analyze, and resolve errors in invoices and other materials to ensure compliance with all necessary regulations.
  • Apply a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations; verify documents for completeness and compliance with the project contracts.
  • Set up new projects in project controller for billing.
  • Review project contracts for rate changes/compliance.

Requisites / Prerequisites:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Work Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in dealing with complex data sets, deriving insights and checking against what you see in the real world.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on a company's success.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office.
  • High level of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company regulations.
  • Attention to detail and ability to analyze large amounts of data.
