Junior IT Recruiter

We love that the projects we work on touch the lives of millions of South Africans every day, making a real difference – whether that’s giving an aspiring businesswoman access to banking for the first time, or distributing government financial aid to thousands of students.

We’re currently looking for a new recruiter with a can-do attitude that can handle working in a fast-paced environment to keep up with Electrum’s rapid growth. The ideal candidate would not only have a black belt in multi-tasking but also be able to prioritise, be comfortable to work with multiple different teams and work well under pressure to deliver results.

Requirements

  • Recruitment administration
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Work with the marketing team to prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
  • Source and recruit candidates
  • Screen candidates resume
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work"
  • University degree/Diploma
  • 1 + years IT recruitment experience (strong IT knowledge is essential)
  • Proven track record of achieving monthly recruitment targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
