Junior Magento 2 Developer
We’re looking for a Junior Magento 2 Dev to bring their passion for ecommerce systems and development into our Mr Price technology team!
This role falls into our Customer Commerce team which consists of amazing, innovative individuals and are focused on developing and improving our internal e-commerce and instore systems, that will take the Mr Price Group into the future!
What we're looking for:
- Relevant IT Diploma or Degree
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the below tech stack:Magento 1 or 2PHPMySQL or Microsoft SQL ServerJavaScriptHTML/CSSSource Version Control like Github or BitBucket
- Magento 1 or 2
- PHP
- MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server
- JavaScript
- HTML/CSS
- Source Version Control like Github or BitBucket
A day in your life:
- Analyze, design, code, debug, test, document & deploy applications
- Working with modules/extensions development/customization
- Theme integrations/customizations
- API creation/integrations
- Develop, enhance and maintain applications that conform to user requirements and specified architectural design in the ecommerce space (websites and web applications)
- Taking technical direction from Senior Developers
- Version Control
- Estimating development timelines
- Solving technical problems
- Test the software with various forms of testing including Stress, Integration and Unit
- Conduct post implementation monitoring and support
- Compile and maintain technical and support documentation
- Working with Waterfall/Agile methodologies for project delivery
- Partnering with all levels of the project teams (Project Managers, Business Analysts, Managers etc) and 3rd party technical vendors
