Senior Business Analyst (Product Owner)

We are looking for an experienced individual looking for an opportunity to work with highly experienced product teams in achieving our clients’ product objectives. You will play a key role in driving the strategic and tactical direction of client-facing projects within Global Kinetic, driving strategic chapter initiatives, along with mentoring of fellow analysts. 

Responsibilities

  • Key facilitator in early product/project discovery engagements, with the aim of guiding the product owners’ strategic vision.
  • Guide the development and maintenance the product roadmap.
  • Facilitate discovery for delivery sessions with clients and product teams to validate solutions before development.
  • Maintain the product backlog in alignment with business value.
  • Plan and lead requirements workshops with stakeholders to elicit high level business/user requirements to support Delivery (Functional and Non-Functional).
  • Analyse validated requirements using critical thinking, lean principals to mitigate potential risks in order to gain client approval.
  • Proactive communication with project team to align business value and supporting requirements to deliver just enough detail in time: Lean/Agile principals.
  • Be the liaison between the client and project teams.
  • Drive prioritised strategic initiatives within Analysis and Design standards, from ideation to change management.
  • Mentor fellow Analysts and quality assure their deliverables within Discovery and Delivery engagements.
  • Practice outcome based, Lean/Agile principals and foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Meeting regularly with project team and relevant stakeholders to review strategy of the product roadmap to adjust tactics, priorities, and milestones.

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Diploma/Certificate in Business Analysis (IIBA certified).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis (IT)
  • 3 years Business Process Management
  • 5 years Conflict Management
  • 3 Years Coaching & Mentoring
  • Experience in driving digital product outcomes with an Agile mindset
  • IIBA (International Institute for Business Analysts)- Desirable

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

  • At minimum, a diploma/degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science/Information Systems.
  • Experience in Azure DevOps (VSTS) or Team Foundation Server (TFS) beneficial.
  • Experience in Design Thinking principals.
  • Exposure in Product Management principals.
