Senior Cloud Network Engineer
The Kurtosys Network Team is responsible for global network services within the organisation, including corporate office and data centre environments. We are looking for experienced network engineers who enjoy working on technical challenges, providing leadership, and managing and mentoring people. Our architecture uses a combination of private and public cloud infrastructure services, and we automate everything we can.
What you will do
- Work remotely on all network environments, including architecture, design, building, monitoring and troubleshooting
- Work on new project initiatives as well as on-going maintenance
- Support and collaborate with other teams
- Manage the Cape Town office network in person.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong experience with Cisco ASA firewalls ("CCNP Security" or equivalent strong experience)
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Deep understanding of TCP / IP stack (HTTPS, SSH, DNS, IPSec, BGP)
- AWS Networking via API/CLI
- Scripting and automation (Shell, Ansible, Cloudformation, GIT)
- Some experience in system administration (Linux, Windows, OSX)
