About the team:

EMEA Infrastructure Operations team is acting as a regional team responsible for the operations of a secure and highly available infrastructure platforms all over the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. The team maintains the reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure, this includes monitoring the operating environments, managing incidents and problems and maintaining a secure systems environment.

What you will be doing:

As part of EMEA Infrastructure Operations team, you will work across all functional areas that belong to EMEA Corporate Systems. You will use your communication and service-oriented skills to collaborate efficiently with Corporate teams and stockholders. Also, you will use and share your expertise/knowledge with the team members within a collaborative and dynamic environment and work with other technical teams and vendors to provide a professional IT service.

You will be requested to:

  • Perform all common operations needed to manage applications: monitoring, backup and restore activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks for infrastructure systems such as patch management and vulnerabilities remediation.
  • Implement and execute the backup and recovery plan for infrastructure solutions.
  • Write, review and maintain technical documentation for production environments.
  • Ensures all necessary security updates, patches, and preventive measures are in place.
  • Maintain vCenters and SAN systems.
  • Manage changes, incidents and problems.
  • Anticipate, identifie and define problems, seek root causes. Develop and implements practical and timely solutions.

What you bring:

  • Good technical diagnostic, analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and services.
  • Good skills in Linux systems and experience of handling Linux based infrastructure. 
  • Good knowledge of the virtualized environments and storage technologies.
  • Knowledge of Backup tools and strategies.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Advanced Linux skills and Shell scripting
  • Skills in troubleshooting network issues and use of diagnostic tools.
  • Service management knowledge (ITIL v3/v4)
