As an account manager at Bongalo, you will be required to act as the main point of contact in all matters related to client concerns and needs. You will work closely with our clients, strengthen client relationships to achieve long-term partnerships. You will be working closely with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met. To better execute your role, you will have to develop a thorough understanding of our product.
Initiate and maintain contact with customers to ensure a positive outcome is achieved.
Answering customer queries efficiently and effectively to meet their needs.
Stay on top of accounts, making sure they’re receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their needs.
Generate progress reports for your line manager.
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.
Identifying potential new customer relationships and making sales pitches.
Generate sales portfolio for accounts and reach the company's target.
Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to retain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling.
You will manage and solve conflicts with clients and be expected to have specific information regarding the daily operations of the Company and keep the Client updated.
Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account.
To be successful in this role you will need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or Psychology.
At least 2 years of experience in customer account management or customer sales.
Ability to multitask and handle multiple clients accounts
Professional experience in a sales or customer service role, or related field
Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Social media management experience
Advanced graphic design skills
Ability to immerse in a diverse team
Good time management skills
Creative, strategic, and analytical thinker
Must be fluent in English and French, and Kinyarwanda(for Rwandans)
