AI-ML - Junior Data Engineer

We are looking for a fresh-graduate data engineer to join our team. You will use various methods to transform raw data into useful data systems. For example, you’ll create algorithms and conduct statistical analysis. Overall, you’ll strive for efficiency by aligning data systems with business goals. To succeed in this data engineering position, you should have strong analytical skills and the ability to combine data from different sources. Data engineer skills also include familiarity with several programming languages and knowledge of machine learning methods. • Develop, construct, test and maintain data architectures and data warehouses
• Develop data set processes
• Use data APIs for data collection
• Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
• Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling

Requirements

• Fresh graduate
• Knowledge of common data warehousing and ETL tools is a plus
• Technical expertise with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques is a plus
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java, Scala, and Python)
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design
• Great numerical and analytical skills
• Strong data modeling skills
• Specific knowledge of AWS/Redshift/Kinesis/Kafka/Spark is a plus
• Knowledge of C++ is a plus
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field; a Master’s is a plus
