Back End Developer
Responsibilities:
- Integration of web and mobile front-end clients with server-side logic
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Writing documentation for APIs developed
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high availability and performance applications
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Python/PHP/Java
- Knowledge of NodeJS and ExpressJS is required
- Additional experience in at leaset one of these: Python Django/Flask, PHP Laravel and/or Java Spring Boot is required
- Must have deep understanding of RESTful API programming
- Understanding of sessions, cookies, authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Must have experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, MySQL, Postgresql, PostGIS, etc)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
