We’re looking for an ambitious and determined Business Development Managers in the retail, eCommerce, financial services, telco, education or healthcare sectors – a real problem solver with a passion for sales and a creative mind set – to join our team and help us change the way people send and receive parcels. You will be part of the sales team that is responsible for growing the business to the leading last-mile logistics company in Africa. Requirements

Your primary focus will be to identify, understand and on-board new business clients. You will identify and prioritise suitable potential clients, create a strong sales pipeline and manage the sign-up process. You are a hunter with great negotiation and closing skills and will also manage your accounts long term, build strong relationships and monitor their performance. By working together with the operational, support and marketing team you will ensure performance improvement of your partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Understand industry segment to identify and prioritise suitable prospects
  • Create a strong sales pipeline, with a long-term view
  • On-board new business partners
  • Manage the sign-up process
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with our partners
  • Monitor partner performance and implement improvements
