Frontend Developer

Job Description

As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that are visible from the computer users vantage point within a web application. You will combine the art of design with the science of programming. You will be responsible for the translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code. There are times you will be expected to work independently to meet tight deadlines following design guidelines

The Frontend Developer is expected to:

• Determining the structure and design of web pages
• Ensuring user experience determines design choices
• Developing features to enhance the user experience
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design
• Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones
• Building reusable code for future use
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages
• Maintaining brand consistency throughout design

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Understanding of key design principles
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Javascript, React and Typescript
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design
• Understanding of SEO principles
• Good problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently
