LocumBase.com is the independent online platform that connects medical practices to freelance medical professionals. LocumBase.com is an organisational tool that plugs into existing manual locum systems to manage known locums and to connect to new, verified locums in a simple and efficient way. LocumBase.comalso empowers independent locums to take charge of the growth trajectory of their medical career. In time, with industry partnerships, LocumBase becomes a holistic ecosystem that empowers, supports and grows the business of each medical practice and each locum in the LocumBase Community. 

Responsibilities

• Design and build a high-performance web application based on current tech-practices.
• Ability to build high performance agile teams
• Architect and implement software libraries
• Develop software devops engineering processes (design, build, quality, maintenance)
• Code quality standards and assurance
• Control product’s technical debt
• Promote collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage product development cycles and building roadmaps
• Note: Responsibilities will grow and evolve based on your interests, capabilities and client needs. 

Required Skills

• Must have led an engineering team.
• 6+ years Javascript Frameworks and NodeJs experience, preferably (React JS, VueJS, ExpressJS)
• Demonstrable experience of developing professional web based software from concept to distribution
• Strong knowledge and experience of developing microservices systems on top of a cloud stack (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Good understanding of how to leverage available cloud base services.
• Ability to setup and manage a basic deployment pipelines (CI/CD)
• Passion for engineering products and trying out new technologies.
• Demonstrated use of the following frameworks would be considered a plus: Javascript Serverless Framework○ Using serverless implementation like (AWS Lambda or Azure Functions) or containerization. Management of tools like JIRA and the like
