JavaScript Platform Developer
Roles & Responsibilities
- Be part of a dynamic team looking after the Indie Platform, responsibilities will include ensuring a secure, highly available, operationally stable and DR enabled environment
- Build and maintain core APIs to the Indie system
- Architect new solutions based on best practices and industry standards
- Assist the DevOps team in the scripting of the environment and implementing DevOps processes
- Support the product team with CI/CD automation
- Assist the product team to identify opportunities for increasing application performance and ultimately client experience
- Introduce innovation by staying abreast of industry trends as well as cloud platform innovation
- Support the platform team in maintaining best practices
Our Ideal Candidate
- You have the ability to work on your own, sometimes spearheading a new direction with minimal guidance
- Experience building APIs with NodeJS
- Experience in architecting, securing, and managing cloud services
- You know how to optimise a platform to improve responsiveness
- Cloud and DevOps certifications are a bonus
- You work well with a wide variety of people of different skills levels and experience
