Junior Graphic Designer

LifeBank is a medical distribution company that uses data, technology and smart logistics to improve the discoverability, delivery, affordability and safety of essential medical products such as blood and oxygen to hospitals in Nigeria and Kenya. The company has distributed 35,000+ medical products to 850 healthcare facilities, saving 15,000+ lives across both countries.

Position Description

The graphic designer is responsible for creating visual concepts that communicate LifeBank goals as well as inform and inspire customers and the public.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise management on best strategies to use in reaching different audience groups across different channels
• Prepare copy for newsletters, pitch decks, brochures and campaigns
• Create images and motion graphics to convey LifeBank’s ideas
• Develop graphics and visual or audio images for product illustrations, logos, and websites
• Research and author articles for LifeBank to be used on social media and other outlets
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design softwares
• Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
• Collaborate with the marketing and community team in developing campaigns

REQUIREMENT

B.Sc or HND in

• Any related discipline
• Training in Graphic design

Experience

• 2-5 years in a similar role
• Knowledge of copywriting and SEO is a plus

Skills and Ability

• Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio
• Knowledge leading design software
• Ability to execute customer requests
• Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations appropriately
• High proficiency in MS office suite
• Must be able to prepare management reports and correspondence
• Good knowledge of administrative and clerical processes
• Good stress and time management skills
