Lead Software Engineer (Backend, PHP)

Role and Responsibilities:

· Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery

· Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship

· Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan,

design, develop, test, and maintain the web and desktop-based business applications.

· Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

· Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and

on a budget.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

· Ability to adapt to various technologies and research new concepts.

· Pro-active attitude and doing what it takes to get the job done.

· Comfortable with agile technologies.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related technical field or equivalent

practical experience.

· 7+ years of experience with Web development using PHP

· Excellent Knowledge of MVC platforms (Laravel).

· Proficiency in web application programming.

· Understanding of good product, design and UX principles.

· Knowledge of e-commerce integration.

· Magento certification is a plus.

· Experience in multi-tiered distributed systems, web services, APIs, and relational & NoSQL

databases

· Have good knowledge with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Responsive
