Ozow is looking for a fast-paced, high-energy, and talented mid-level graphic designer to bring our visuals and branding to the next level. As Ozow is scaling up, this graphic designer will have a great impact on the visual direction of our brand. They will form part of our strong and growing creative team, collaborating with Ozow’s creatives and executives to execute Ozow’s standard of excellence.  

Your roles and responsibilities

• Using design software to create high-quality, innovative, and engaging visuals.  
• Designing visuals for marketing purposes, such as content for social media; digital advertising; Ozow’s website.
• Designing visuals for internal purposes, such as internal branding and merchandise; digital and printed collateral for merchants; visual content required for sales and pitch decks.
• Working closely and collaborating with Ozow’s designers, ensuring deliverables are produced efficiently and promptly according to the needs of the business.  
• Communicating regularly and clearly with all members of the creative team, including regular reporting to the executives and managers involved.  
• Executing on the design strategy of a project, and creating the elements, layout, and format required in order to align them with the creative leads’ intent, in a way that is consistent with the consultations and conceptualisation leading up to the project. 
• Integrating executive and stakeholder feedback into the final designs. 
• Providing insight and guidance to the creative team, on the latest design trends and technologies to ensure Ozow stays ahead of the curve.  

Your skills and experience

• A relevant degree or certification in design or visual art.  
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• A portfolio showcasing all relevant design work that upholds the standard of excellence that Ozow is seeking.  
• Extensive experience with the best practices required for design.  
• Extensive experience with digital design work.
• Extensive knowledge of the software and hardware requirements for design. 
• An up-to-date understanding of the latest graphic design trends.
