We are looking for a Mobile App Developer that is hard working, ambitious and is wanting to

contribute towards building the largest integrated health platform in Africa.

Job Title

Mobile App Developer – based in Nairobi, Kenya

Job Summary

Working on the Development Team, you will help build out a new mobile app, ensuring it has

excellent functionality and an excellent user interface.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Lead Developer, the incumbent will be required but not limited to:

− Help build and maintain an android app firstly and then an IOS app

− Help to figure out how to make our website and apps more functional.

− Integrate APIs from third party systems.

− Any other tasks assigned to you by the Lead Developer or CEO.

Qualifications and skills

− At least 3 years’ experience developing mobile applications, specifically using android

− Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

− A very good understanding about web applications and programming languages such as Java,

JavaScript, Ajax, Php, Mysql, SqlLite, Laravel

− Experience in CMSs i.e. Wordpress

− Experience in API integrations - SMS/WhatsApp APIs integration; Payment integration APIs;

Map API integrations

− An understanding on Security Principles with regard to android and tech platforms

− Experience in developing an IOS app is an added advantage

− A strong desire to learn and figure out how to create a market leading user-friendly health app

− Quick to adopt and willingness to work/deliver in a short period

− Excellent communication and English writing skills is a must

− A wiliness to learn and work in a fast-paced start up environment

− Flexible and willing to help in other areas if need be

We also aim to help patients research doctors in their areas based on speciality and comments from other patients, and also be able to book an appointment with ease at their convenience 24×7, for a time that is suitable for them during the day. FOR DOCTORS We believe that doctors should be focusing on both increasing their knowledge and more importantly providing the best service to their patients. Too many doctors across Africa get stuck on unnecessary admin and paper work. That is why at My Health Africa we also focus on creating products that help doctors streamline their practices and concentrate on what matters most; helping their patients get better.
