NodeJS Developer

Job Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced NodeJS developer who will help us deliver this mission to the world. You will report to the team.

Responsibilities and duties

• You will work with the solution architect to deliver a technical architect.
• You will participate in developing and reviewing user stories.
• You will raise and fix defects.
• You will write modular NodeJS code to support our Front End system/dashboard.
• You will write modular NodeJS code to support our Back End API infrastructure.
• You will write NodeJS tests.
• You will peer-review code.
• You will be required to stay up to date with all recent developments in Javascript.
• You will be optimizing systems for performance and scalability.

About you

The ideal candidate is an experienced NodeJS developer who has previous experience in partnering with multiple stakeholders. Your energetic nature excels in a team environment where you align whatever it takes to get a quality job done the first time. You are someone with the ability to think on your feet and embrace a dynamic start-up environment. Your logical solid and communication skills are critical for this role. In general, you are a holder of:

• Highly proficient with NodeJS
• Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing,
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful API’s
• Good understanding of Jira.
• Good understanding of Scrum.
