Private Sales Consultant - Telesales

AutoTrader is looking for a well-spoken individual to take on the role of a Private Sales Consultant-Telesales. The candidate will be based in the Gauteng region and will form part of the Operations Team. To handle customer orders/queries by telephone, by mail or walk-in. To assist with the implementation of the departmental objectives by calling clients with the intention of selling them products sold by the company. To achieve targets though sales to new and/or existing clients. To provide an efficient and professional service to all clients and improve service levels. To perform administration duties that are required, while actively living out the corporate value system as defined by The Road Less Travelled.

A typical day as a Private Sales Consultant-Telesales at would be to: 

  • To deal with all incoming calls as quickly and efficiently as possible 
  • Ensure all calls are dealt with professionally and courteously 
  • To achieve sales revenue targets
  • To achieve minimum performance standards
  • To execute all sales campaigns
  • Canvass and/or re-canvass customers from Leads provided 
  • To ensure effective communication is maintained within the department and other management personnel.  
  • To maintain a high level of customer service at all times and assist clients where necessary
  • All client complaints/queries to be resolved within the same working day
  • To ensure a high level of quality and accuracy is carried out on all tasks 
  • To adhere to the departments standard operating procedures
  • To ensure all Fall Off customers are contactedTo contact customers where their adverts have expired in order to upsell
  • To assist customers with failed payment queries

Who we’re looking for:

  • 2 Years Sales (Inbound & Outbound), in a fast paced business environmen
  • Good command of the English language
  • Advantageous if fluent in Afrikaans as well as any other South African languages
  • Matric (Required)
