Python-Trading Developer
Job Role
We are seeking a talented technical resource to work in the trading field. As a Python Developer, you are going to work with the desk to develop and enhance the company's trading strategies and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Build tools to monitor and calibrate credit market making algorithms
- Develop and maintain analytics and attributions
- Collaborate with trading desk to facilitate improved performance
- Develop trading engines and strategies
- Ensure strong reliability, scalability and performance of the core algo components
- Work with other e-trading teams to support live trading
- Learn and maintain large code base, improve design and quality of the trading strategies code
- Adhere to engineering standards and strive for best in class solutions
Requirements:
- BS/MS/ PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related field completed upon employment
- Basics in Algorithmic Trading
- Advanced knowledge in Python (Numpy, API, Pandas, Dash, Sklearn)
- Good knowledge in Micro framework (Flask, Django)
- Basic knowledge in AWS
- Strong communication skills (ability to present complex issues clearly, both verbally and in writing)
- Database knowledge (e.g. SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Q/kdb,)
- Strong programming skills; at least in one of the following languages: Python, R, Java, Scala, C++
- Analytical thinking and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work thoughtfully and independently on multiple projects
- Data analysis and mathematical modelling skills
