Senior Backend Developer
We're looking for a senior backend developer responsible for building APIs that support the delivery of innovative components and features of our API platform. Your main motivation is to deliver high quality APIs that support our frontend applications as well inetrgations with 3rd party systems. You will be working with proficient developers and subject matter experts to deliver innovative and customer-centric insurance products.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop APIs
- Integrate with 3rd party API providers
- Work in a multidisciplinary team with other professionals (back-end developers, product owner, project manager, …)
- Ensure high quality and performance of the deliverables
- Follow coding best-practices
- Test, debug and fix issues
- Document your work
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Back-end developer
- Proficiency in Node.js
- In-depth understanding of API developement lifecycle
- Working professional proficiency in English is required
- knowledge of Database technologies – RDBMS or NoSQL
- Practical knowledge of version control systems (Github, Gitlab)
- Kafka
- GCP
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum framework
- Experience in financial services is a plus
