The Engineering Team at Airlift Technologies is looking for a BackEnd Developer who will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining core pieces of back-end functionality that will go on to impact millions of lives.

The ideal candidate should also be a team player and should love to mentor and guide the junior developers in the team. They should also be able to excel at working in an extremely fast, highly collaborative and cross functional environment. The candidate should always be on a lookout for the best solution for any given problem any time of the day. The problem solving skills should be exceptional with this candidate!

As a BackEnd Engineer, you must possess:

• 3+ years of prior experience with Back-End and/or web-based technologies,
• Experience in Node JS, Typescript and DB design and analysis along with expertise in Angular, HTML and CSS,
• Development experience with Docker, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch, Redis and similar tools,
• Good command on source control (Git, SVN) and understanding of defect-tracking systems,
• Working knowledge of cloud stack (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.),
• Experience in writing unit and integration tests,
• Solid understanding of the microservices architecture,
• Good understanding of message brokers and asynchronous messaging system,
• The ability to work in cross-functional environment with remote teams and demonstrate problem-solving skills,
• Very strong Leadership skills in being able to lead a team of Engineers in a highly collaborative way.
