We are looking for a smart, passionate, and digital creative designer to join our marketing team on its mission as soon as possible. This position is based in Cairo, Egypt.

your role will include conceptualizing and implementing of creative ideas for our websites, social media, and email marketing campaigns that are in line with our branding. You will be working closely with our content marketing and web development team to ensure proper and hassle-free implementation. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent visual design skills and be proficient in graphic design. Ideal candidates will understand responsive design concepts and have experience in UI development/programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the creative process from start to finish including conceptualizing creative ideas, presentations, revisions, and final production.
  • Follow design guidelines, standards, and best practices. Maintaining the appearance of the website by enforcing content standards. Design visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding.
  • Create all brand visuals and creative assets, for digital ads and marketing channels. (including social media, blogs, and other media channels),
  • Test and improve the design of the website. Design page layouts and templates. Design sample pages including colors and fonts. Incorporate functionalities and features into websites.
  • Communicate design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
  • Collaborate with UX designers, copywriters, front-end web developers, marketing, engineering, and other teams to interpret project requests and deploy designs.
  • Work cross-team and/or clients to synthesize feedback and input from stakeholders to create structured work.
  • Work with content management systems (CMS).
  • Utilize data and analytics in making design decisions.
  • Create and maintain a database of design assets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts/graphic design; or equivalent proved experience of understanding graphic design fundamentals.
  • +3 years of professional experience in digital design in roles such as a Digital Designer, Creative Designer, Marketing Designer, or Senior Graphic Designer working for Marketing at an established corporation and/or agency environment.
  • Solid experience designing for brand and marketing objectives, a strong command of color theory, image composition, and typography with a strong portfolio, and references to show for it.
  • Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats.
  • Awareness of UI/UX principles.
  • Expert-level experience with Adobe CC pack especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office pack especially PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills English is a must.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
  • Strong at conceptual thinking, able to analyze design problems, work out, and deliver fresh solutions.
  • Organizational skills, most importantly file management, and a methodical workflow.
  • High level of attention to detail and degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent time-management skills. Comfort working in a deadline-driven environment.
  • A doer. You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty. You have no ego when it comes to working on small projects – you inherently understand that everything we create impacts our customers.
  • A multi-tasker. Able orchestrate projects of varying levels of complexity, as well as scope, and get great work done, on time.
  • A problem solver. You can take on complex creative issues and find ways to roll out solutions from concept to execution across multiple platforms.
  • A continuous learner. You know that part of being a brilliant creative is taking, and receiving, a critique. You can handle a bit of rejection here and there
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  • Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
  • Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
  • A big fan of Star Wars.
