Modus Capital is an early to mid-stage ecosystem development fund that focuses on entrepreneurial ecosystem development in frontier markets by connecting them with developed markets providing cross border deal-flow, capital flows, and knowledge transfer. Our focus is the creation of new technologies to alleviate consumer and business pain points and the application of technology value-added for small-to-medium enterprises. Job Description
- Responsible for developing and executing a clearly defined Digital lead acquisition and organic growth strategy in a manner that supports both Modus’ overall marketing and portfolio companies pipeline.
- Create, manage, and Digital execute marketing plans that drive acquisition based on strategically targeted messaging.
- Design & execute acquisition funnels for Modus clients.
- Grow and continuously optimize our lead/customer acquisition funnel
- Manage the strategic and day-to-day aspects of the company's’ social media advertising & retargeting.
- Own all lead acquisition metrics including budgeting, CPL/CPA, conversion metrics.
- Learn and understand the digital marketing methods of competitors and other leading industries, weigh and formulate an optimized digital communication plan;
- Define, launch, and measure growth experiments to learn what channels, campaigns, and offers work best.
- Work closely with the other teams and stakeholders to ensure acquisition goals are met.
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
- Improve the usability, design, content and user experience of client websites to achieve optimal KPIs.
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and keep the company at the forefront of digital marketing developments.
- Recommend best e-commerce solutions & platforms for clients, and help measure relevant e-commerce metrics to clients’ stores.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in marketing or equivalent related field.
- Must have B2B and B2C company experience.
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in progressive acquisition, lead generation, or digital marketing roles.
- LinkedIn Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, SFDC, and hubspot experience.
- Media Buying / Google Ads experience SEM, GDN, In App, Youtube, etc...
- SEO basic experience to service performance & lead generation purposes.
- Experience with lead prequalification, list management, and digital campaign management.
- Marketing analytics, email marketing, landing page optimization, and copywriting/editing.
- Startup experience is an asset.
- E-commerce experience is an asset (platforms, funnels, tools & plugins, etc!).
- Positive, energetic attitude, and initiative.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal communication and analytical skills
- Excellent project management and planning skills; ability to work independently.
- Able to work comfortably in a hands-on, multi-task, deadline-driven environment.
- Experienced in working with a cross functional team.
