Senior Frontend Engineer

elmenus is a venture-backed food discovery startup based in Egypt that serves over 1 Million monthly users. We are building a platform that combines a social, visual and personalized experience to help people discover and order the food they will love.

As a senior front-end engineer, you’ll make a significant contribution in combining the art of design with the art of programming by translate designs to actual code that will produce visual elements of the product.

you will work with the design team to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation, taking an active role in defining how the application looks, as well as how it works. Ideally, you should be able to demonstrate hands-on experience in using current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability.

What will make you fit for this role:

• Excellent JavaScript experience
• Superb knowledge of at least one of Bootstrap, Foundation or Material
• Shipped SPAs using AngularJS, ReactJS or similar frameworks
• Shipped multiple RTL and LTR applications
• Familiar with one of CSS preprocessors
• Great passion for learning new technologies
• Excited about giving back knowledge to the community through blogs, meetups, pushing code to be reused by the public
