Senior Java Developer 100% Remote role
100% remote role - you can be based anywhere in South Africa.Our client, one of the biggest banks in South Africa who is a firm believer in technical innovation and leading-edge financial solutions is urgently looking for a for Senior Java Developers to deliver specialist technical expertise, leadership across the full solution lifecycle to direct the scope, design, quality and refactoring of complex software applications, systems and integration services, against required standards and timelines.Guide teams in the assessment and selection of suitable technologies / approaches, and lead the quality of end-to-end solutions, engineering artefacts to deliver engineering excellence.
In order to be considered the following is required:
- Degree in Information Technology
- 5 - 10 years broad experience in translating business and functional requirements into technical specifications and developing the programming code to create the solutions - Core Java
- API - Swagger, SOAP, PostgreSQL, AWS
- Deep and broad experience required in multiple areas of technology (comb-shaped engineer). It is imperative to have experience in large, transformational projects, and the agile way of work
- Spring Boot Framework is highly preferable
- Payments experience is high advantages
- Flexible on industry background
