Senior Legal Analyst

We are looking to hire a Senior Legal Analyst who will be responsible for providing general corporate and commercial legal support, act as advisor on legal issues involving the organizations governmental, regulatory and licensing requirements, perform litigation on the company's behalf or coordinate litigation and other corporate secretarial matters and identify and manage legal risk across various areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal support to the business/ sales team such as draft and review commercial agreements, tender documents and agreements on general corporate matters.
  • Managing the legal and contractual aspects of a variety of data center services contracts, complex technology services contracts and projects from pre-sales (including tenders) to project conclusion, in compliance with Helium Health’'s policies and procedures, applicable laws and contractual obligations.
  • Providing frontline support for negotiations, responding to complex inquiries regarding existing contract obligations and revisions, identify risks and issues, and suggest alternatives that lead to the best all this, within a corporate environment within Malaysia.
  • Reviewing key risks both from business and operations perspective (for both revenue-generating transactions and non-revenue generating transactions) and ensure that these are tracked until resolution.
  • Maintain and organize the internal legal filing system. 
  • Review and analyze responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs or clients/customers terms & conditions as needed. 
  • Coordinate the dissemination of regulatory compliance regulations, related laws and guidance to Key's lines of business to ensure corporate-wide compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Effectively partner and establish trusted relationships with lines of business contacts, senior level management, the legal team, marketing and others, regarding corporate-wide compliance issues and the identification and mitigation of compliance risk.
  • Perform complex compliance tasks as assigned. This includes, but is not limited to, merger and acquisition activities, contract reviews, risk assessments, compliance risk mitigation strategies, new or existing system and/or operational implementation.
  • Assist with new business initiatives (new product development and product analysis to ensure sanctions compliance risks are appropriately identified and mitigated.
  • Performs other related administrative and technical duties as may be assigned or requested by immediate supervision

Requirement:

  • Bachelors of Laws or L.L.M. with a minimum of 3 – 6 years’ of legal experience.
  • Mix of professional experience as in-house counsel and legal counsel in a top tier law firm with international clients or other relevant private or public practice. 
  • Litigation skills to handle administrative procedures within public authorities and court litigation. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of general business law issues including regulatory framework.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Digital acumen and knowledge of use of modern work tools.
  • Ability to facilitate communication within teams and participate effectively as a member in teams.
