We are looking for enthusiastic Senior UX Designer to join their newly formed product department.
As the Senior UX Designer you will be involved in scoping, designing and evolving a brand-new platform, that strikes a balance between the internal user needs and requirements, and objectives of the business. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a new product team, working to shape and influence a product from the early stages.
The Senior UX Designer will have in-depth UCD (User-centred Design) experience working on complex products — preferably in the enterprise tooling/platform space. Any experience in designing tools with a workflow/service design angle too is advantageous. The designer will be a true team player; flexible, positive and a willingness to collaborate in varying sized groups — teaming with others from different disciplines. Their attitude and approach to tackling design challenges are probably the most important aspects of this role.
The designer will have worked on projects from inception through to research, testing and delivery. We are seeking candidates who happily get their hands stuck into creating and iterating core UX design deliverables; whether it be user journeys, task flows, system/site mapping, concepts, wireframes or lean prototypes – depending on the challenge at hand.
They will be advocates of a considered design process, yet flexible enough to adapt their approach to deliver artefacts in as lean a manner as possible, in order drive the product forward.
They will be strong advocates of evidence-based design decision-making; through data, research, observation and insight. They will be used to working with C-suite and senior stakeholders, as well as engaging with users and our resident UX researcher — to drive the product forward. They will be used to testing and iterating their product concepts with users and have proven experience in conducting user research and analysis too. The Senior UX Designer should have the following experience:
We are keen to see portfolios which have detailed examples of concepts, research, prototyping, testing and measurement.
