Technology Lead

Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for leading the Tech team and alignment of the technical direction derived from understanding of both business and process requirements; translating them into solution architectures that are in line with BRANTU’s technology objectives and direction.

Responsibilities:

• Management of technology development programs including technology/product conception and project definition and development activities
• Responsible for project progress tracking, updates and status reporting
• Allocate the required resources for deploying identified projects; including assigning developers to conduct assessments with Product Managers requesting business units
• Drive adherence to Technology development processes, such as a standardized gate process and other required design and development procedures
• Oversee development team productions and test environments and outcomes, ensuring all codes produced are in-line with BRANTU standards
• Lead project definitions, statements of success, milestone tracking and testing activities
• Participate in priority setting, strategic planning, budget preparation and resource allocation
• Prepare proposals and estimates for new technology development projects
• Provide regular updates on technological projects, performance and project pipeline activities to the CEO presenting progress, accomplishments and issues and provide options to address any issues
• Lead the preparation of project-costing estimations
• Working with Product Managers, ensure documentation and manuals made available for the users are up-to-date

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, MSc. is a plus

• 8-10 years of experience that includes software development, technical project execution and managing a team of in-house developers (full stack)
