DevOps Developer
Role Outline
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Reliable and secure delivery of Xago platform products into cloud environments
- Monitoring of platform health and evaluation/implementation of monitoring tools
- Working with the dev team in:Delivery process improvementsDesigning and implementing scaling strategies
- Delivery process improvements
- Designing and implementing scaling strategies
- Ensuring network integrity and security, and recommendations of improvements thereon
- Assist in the design and implementation of the triage process for customer enquiries and issues
Skills
- Deep understanding of CI (continuous integration) and CD (continuous delivery) practices, including TDD and BDD
- Experience in at least one popular CI framework, such as Jenkins, Travis or (preferably) Gitlab CI
- Deep experience with any variation of Linux
- Experience with AWS cloud products (such as EC2, ELB, KMS)
- Docker containerisation
- Bash scripting
- At least 1 dynamic programming language (preferably Javascript/Node)
- Automation scripting with Ansible
- Monitoring and scaling with Kubernetes
