About the Role:
The Human Resources Associate at myAgro Senegal is pivotal to the success of the team. As myAgro Senegal continues to expand its impact on farmers, you will play a crucial role in supporting the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring the team is well-equipped to make a positive difference. You will do this by working with the dedicated Human Resources team.
You Will:
- Accurately prepare and issue employment contracts, and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
- Assist in the timely and accurate processing of payroll, including verifying attendance, calculating deductions, and generating payroll reports.
- Stay abreast of company policies and procedures, providing support to employees on various HR-related matters.
- Identify, attract, and select qualified candidates for open positions, ensuring alignment with company requirements.
- Manage leave requests while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Facilitate the processing of employee loan applications, verifying eligibility and complete necessary paperwork.
- Provide comprehensive HR support to field staff, and ensuring they are well-informed about company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the implementation of HR strategy by gathering, analyzing, and reporting key HR data through monthly HR dashboards.
- Cultivate strong relationships with third-party employers, fostering smooth collaboration on HR-related matters.
You Have:
- 2+ years experience in Human Resources, and have experience managing recruitment, contracts, payroll, leave, loans, discipline, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute work.
- English and French proficiency; Preferred: Wolof proficiency
- Experience collaborating within teams to achieve common objectives.
- Knowledge of Senegalese Labor Law and Employee Code.
