Responsibilities:

This role is reporting to Country GM, will be responsible for driving the following business priorities; rider and driver acquisition and engagement, service quality, compliance, safety and financial fraud and optimizing existing polices and process to generate growth and minimize our risk in these areas:

We’re looking for someone who has experience in implementing processes at scale, process optimization, has confirmed the ability and willingness to “roll-up sleeves” and get involved with operations. We want a creative problem solver who will drive innovative solutions, while also holding firm to be ethical, and “always day one, champion’s heart”. They need to have the emotional intelligence to work in a fast paced environment with a diverse set of partners all over the world.

About the Role

Develop a deep understanding of our rider and driver base, products, services and programs, and drive the growth from supply and demand, with multiple channel and tools.

Contribute to the development of our customer strategy, new products and services

Develop the experimentation and implementation plan for new launches/ roll-outs or continuous engage with drivers and riders.

Work with cross-functional partners and global teams to project manage the execution of Africa business priorities

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

2-3 years’ experience in rider share, food delivery, Strategy Consulting or other professional services with a proven track record in using data to drive business decisions

Has a good sense and knowledge of growth, including acquisition, retention, engagement with different channels in cluding: paid performance, EDM, CRM and coupons etc.

Demonstrated ability to organize, plan and priorities assignments within multiple projects

Experience dealing with complex data sets, deriving insights, checking against what you see in the real-world and synthesizing recommendations

Distinctive problem-solving - ability to break down ambiguous problems, put structure and use data-driven insights to solve them

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
