You will be part of a team responsible for allocating merchant payments, processing refunds and answering payment queries whilst making the payment journey an enjoyable experience for Merchants.
Peach Payments make online commerce and digital payment acceptance easier and more accessible across all Africa. Based in Cape Town, South Africa, we work with small and large sellers to provide a complete toolkit to accept, manage and disburse payments through web and mobile. Our merchant partners include your favourite food delivery services, whether you are ordering in or using a meal kit, travel services that can help you book your next getaway adventure and even your neighbour’s side-hustle e-commerce store. For these partners and their customers, we aim to provide delightful experiences that make it as easy as possible to facilitate online payments.
What you’ll do:
Prepare and process merchant settlements and payments
Reconcile and report merchant settlement transactions
Research and resolve any discrepancies
Respond and resolve queries/disputes and proactively sharing best practice with colleagues
Identify improvements to Payment Team processes and support the delivery of process improvements
Ensure that all work instructions, processes and procedures are updated as required and changes communicated to the relevant stakeholders
Raise any matters that may delay the processing of payments which may negatively affect a Merchant’s ability to trade, and manage Merchants expectation
Actively seek ways to improve the overall payment processing life cycle to positively impact on the Merchants experience.
