About the Role:

As a Poultry Manager, you will report to the Agriculture Director. Your mission will be to ensure that we are delivering the highest quality of inputs and services possible to our poultry farmers. With our plans to increase our impact with farmers, this is a crucial role to the team.

You Will:

  • Design and scale up poultry packages to women farmers in Senegal and Mali.
  • Pilot and test decentralized production units and use the results to inform decision-making.
  • Based on extensive research and communication with farmers and specialists, you will build and improve training program for farmers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with our suppliers, based on collaboration and growth.
  • Evaluate the impact of poultry packages on households and use the results to adapt the program.
  • Make sure poultry package takes its place among the other packages offered by myAgro.

You Have:

  • At least 5 years of prior management experience – preferably including background in scaling and expanding programs in rural areas
  • Background in poultry farming, ideally with double purpose breeds
  • At least 2 years of experience managing decentralized production facilities
  • Technical knowledge on poultry farming, nutrition, disease management...
  • Held a position on the crossroads between multiple departments.
  • Fluency in French and English
