Product Manager - Insurance Insights

Purpose of the job

We are looking for a full-time Product Manager to join our team to help us build our unique product offering in the Crop Insurance space.

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Effectiveness and confidence in communicating with stakeholders of all levels
  • The ability to manage a product in it’s full cycle, from ideation to launch and re-iteration
  • The ability to report and present results of any given team initiative
  • The ability to operate in, and continuously enable, a cross functional team

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for a full-time Product Manager to work closely with our teams to:

  • Drive our Product strategy through innovating in the US crop insurance space
  • Clearly define our value proposition in the space, and articulate a plan on how to get there with the support of the development team
  • Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders to identify problems and opportunities
  • Proactively manage stakeholders’ expectations by communicating throughout the product development process
  • Work closely with a team of Engineers and Designers, supporting the team in creating a roadmap that will lead you to achieve the team’s objectives
  • Define the metrics and KPIs used to measure the impact of the product development initiatives
  • Use both quantitative and qualitative research to improve the product, and report on the performance
  • Effectively manage and prioritise the team’s backlog ensuring that there is a healthy balance of product growth and maintenance, as well as system improvements
  • Create and drive an environment of experimentation where each action is a step towards solving a problem and reaching objectives

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Experience in the financial services industry (Preferable)
