Senior Business Development and Product Partnership Manager

Reporting Line:            Chief Innovation Officer

Job Location:               Victoria Island, Lagos + Partly Remote

Job Purpose: To develop and deploy end-to-end Partnership strategy by connecting Techadvance with partner brands to launch new Fintech products and improve existing ones for the African Fintech market.

Candidate Profile: Techadvance is looking for a director of business development and product partnerships. This person should:

Think Like this:

Be able to come across a company and dream up products that leverage our API’s to create valuable and mutually beneficial fintech services for the company and TechAdvance. For Example:  How can a food franchise (completely different industry) and a TA work together? What kind of product can I develop? And who will benefit/how will such a product add value to their business/revenues?

Do this:

Put these ideas into actionable proposal documentations- Powerpoint preferably- with schematics, benefits to both parties, roles and responsibilities and project execution/Go live timelines

Should also be able to do a first line business model proposition that corporate finance personnel can use to create a broader financial model complete with revenue share and cost center analysis.

A self-starter, mission oriented with excellent interpersonal skills. Should be turned on by closing deals and seeing their hardwork and conceptualizations come to life. Leverage networks (that will be available to you) and yours to get what you want.


  • Develop and execute partnerships strategy to enhance and grow key Techadvance products, including established and embryonic products
  • Drive conversations between Techadvance and her B2B clients for the purpose of leveraging our Fintech As a Service (FAAS) and Banking As a Service (BAAS) solutions to drive growth
  • Develop and optimize product portfolios. Connect Techadvance to FAAS and BAAS product clients
  • Manage commercial and strategic partnerships with key partners. Network and build strategic relationships with existing and potential partners
  • Support businesses to expand and improve their product offerings through whitelabelling our Fintech infrastructure to achieve their business growth objectives
  • Drive partner engagement and strategically productize partner and client needs
  • Work closely with our product and platform teams to develop strategy, scope potential partnerships and negotiate partnership contracts
  • Lead the product partner relationships team at our company

The ideal candidate must be;

  • A creative thinker and problem solver who can translate Techadvance’s overall business priorities into a cohesive partner strategy
  • A cross­ functional stakeholder motivator who is able to influence and direct strategic objectives to deliver on the defined partner strategy
  • Passionate product-minded leader who is focused on customer experience and outcomes

The ideal candidate must have;

  • Minimum 5yrs experience in product development, product partnerships, FinTech sales and marketing etc
  • Proven ability to build strategic relationships and negotiate business deals with external partners
  • Demonstrated understanding of launching new products/features

Salary: Salary band starts at N600,000 naira with bonuses and discretionary stock options for the right candidate. Company is willing to increase any of the wage parameters for an exceptional candidate.
