Our Mr Price Group technology team are looking for a go-getter new Dev to work on our Mr Price money/mobile software projects.
A day in your life:
- Design, code, and test major features in collaboration with team members.
- Develop, enhance and maintain financial & telco applications as per user & architecture requirements
- Solving technical problems
- Maintain and modify existing applications
- Perform maintenance programming for existing version and custom programming as assigned
- Analyze and fix defects, add features to software, and debug and test software implementations.
- Provide design documents and documentation to ensure efficient maintenance and code reuse.
- Ensure the functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules and system architecture for each assignment.
- Interact and participate in meetings with key partners, team members and internal users regarding timelines, technical issues, and infrastructure integration.
- Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes
- Release process management
- Conduct necessary unit testing (Stress, Integration and Unit)
- Conduct post implementation monitoring
- Document support handover documentation
- Complete and maintain relevant documentation and version control disciplines to maintain source code
- Using waterfall / agile methodologies for project delivery
- Collaborating with all levels of the project teams (Project Managers, Business Analysts, Managers etc) and 3rd party technical vendors
Experience:
- Relevant IT Qualification
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the below tech stack:C#NET CoreSQL ServerJavaScript (REACT and/or Angular 2+ frameworks)HTML/CSSSVN/Git Source controlIISRESTful Web Services
- C#
- NET Core
- SQL Server
- JavaScript (REACT and/or Angular 2+ frameworks)

An advantage in addition to the above skills would be:
